Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the most kind, most silliest person I have ever met. He has radically changed my life, and He can change yours too. I had grown up in church and heard about Jesus and I had even claimed to love and to follow Him. Yet, my freshman year of college, something happened to me. I realized that being in control of my own life was actually miserable. I had gaping holes in my heart that could not be filled no matter what I tried to do. Therefore, when Jesus encountered me, I made a decision to follow Him.
Jesus Christ came into the world, born of a virgin—sinless and perfect. He was wise beyond His years and devoted to studying the Torah, the Jewish law. At the age of 30, He began His public ministry, performing countless miracles that drew large crowds. People were captivated by His teachings, which stood in stark contrast to the religious leaders of the time. Rather than adhering to strict, legalistic interpretations of the Jewish Law, Jesus preached love, compassion, forgiveness, and mercy. He boldly confronted hypocrisy and extended grace to the broken. He empowered societal outcasts—lepers, women, and others marginalized by society—and even spent time with tax collectors and sinners. In the end, Jesus willingly handed Himself over to those who sought His death. Being without sin, He became the perfect sacrifice, dying on the cross for humanity. But three days later, He rose from the dead, triumphing over death itself. By confessing our sins and believing in Jesus Christ as Savior, you can become a child of God and receive eternal life! He loves you deeply and cares for you more than you can imagine. Jesus is the truest friend you could ever have.
